You can make a variety of payments using this site using most major credit and debit cards (but not Diners Card or American Express).Please note: Credit cards are not accepted for the payment of Council Tax, Business Rates, BID Levy, Housing Benefit Overpayments or Housing Rent.Have your bill or invoice to hand, select a service from the following list and simply complete the details as required.
Security Information - Your payment card details are directly processed by the Payment Management division of Capita Software Services, a leading provider of secure online payments services to local government, and are not collected or accessible by the Council. Capita Software Services online payment solutions are independently assessed and the company is certified by Visa Europe as a Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Level 1 payment processor - further information on this standard can be found at PCI Security standards. On a technical note, all online card payments are protected by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128 bits, the highest level commercially available.
If you need assistance at any point in the process please click on 'Information and Payment Help' which will provide details on how to complete each page. If you choose to cancel the payment, you can do this at any time during the process by clicking on the 'CANCEL' button. This will take you back to the homepage and all the details you have entered will be deleted. If you share your PC, or if you are using it in a public area such as a library or internet café, you should completely disconnect from the Chichester District Council website at the end of the process to ensure your card details remain secure.
